Set within a desirable residential area of Maidenhead, this project represents the complete transformation of a dated property into a high-quality, contemporary family home, delivered to an excellent standard throughout.
The works comprised of a substantial two-storey front extension and a single-storey rear extension, combined with a full internal reconfiguration. Extensive structural alterations were undertaken, including the installation of new structural steelwork (RSJs), enabling open-plan living spaces and a more functional, modern layout.
The property has been fully upgraded with a new mechanical and electrical installation. A high-efficiency system boiler paired with a 300-litre hot water cylinder has been installed within the loft, complemented by water-based underfloor heating across the entire ground floor, providing consistent comfort and improved energy efficiency.
Originally, the house was in poor condition, with an outdated oil-fired heating system dating back to the 1980s. The redevelopment has significantly enhanced the property’s performance, functionality, and overall value, bringing it in line with modern living standards.
Internally, the house has been finished to a high standard, incorporating two bespoke bathrooms, a contemporary kitchen, and a well-designed utility space, including a dedicated dog wash station tailored to the client’s lifestyle.
Works commenced on 22 September 2025 and were completed on 20 March 2026.
This project reflects a strong collaborative approach between all parties. We worked closely with Heighway Associates Architects (HAA) and the client acting as project administrator, ensuring a coordinated delivery and a high-quality final result. The outcome is a well-balanced home combining structural integrity, modern systems, and refined finishes.
